David has written sketches and one liners for many comedians over the years. He was an occasional contributor to 'Week Ending' and 'The News Huddlines' and went on to write for anyone who he thought would take a line or two from him. He was, and still is, as happy to critisise the left as the right, politically.

David wrote and adapted some of the Shakespeare 4 Kidz which blended music and text in order to simplify these works for young people.

He adapted the TV series of 'Steptoe and Son' to the stage by Ray Galton and Alan Simpson, and also 'Hancock's Half Hour' and the Galton and Simpson Playhouse series.

David adapted three episodes of 'Ripping Yarns' by Michael Palin and Terry Jones to the stage and this was produced in Milton Keynes for a week in 2009 with great success playing to full houses.

He is also adapting a second 'Allo Allo' stage show with the permission of David Croft.

David has written the 'funny' parts for many speeches including those for businessmen and even politicians. Much as he may distrust all politicians, his morals would not allow him to turn down money from them.

He will still write speeches for other speakers/performers, and has a network of others writers who are happy to help each other out and who work together on speculative projects.
